The 8th Annual QTIC Tourism Indigenous Employment Forum will take place in Gold Coast on Wednesday 14 November 2018. An initiative of QTIC, the forum is hosted by the QTIC Indigenous Champions Network.

The forum brings together business leaders, employers, government representatives, tourism organisations, native title holders and community organisations to discuss important issues, opportunities and strategies for supporting Indigenous tourism growth and Indigenous employment across the state.

From the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games to nurturing young Indigenous talent, the forum provides an opportunity to hear inspiring success stories and to meet and network with a cross-section of tourism operators, employees, business managers and industry representatives.

We hope you can join us as we work towards the goal of the QTIC Indigenous Champions Network – to gain an additional 2020 Indigenous staff into the tourism industry by 2020, and identify 20 Indigenous tourism businesses in Queensland by 2020.

The 8th Annual QTIC Tourism Indigenous Employment Forum is presented as part of the DestinationQ program.
