We organise a range of events, from major lunches and dinners to exclusive boardroom lunches, and topic specific functions with presentations from Ministers, business leaders and tourism and hospitality experts. Through these events, we are able to offer networking opportunities and provide direct and effective input into government policy development.

The QTIC Salute to Excellence Awards recognises Year 11 and 12 students that are undertaking or have completed vocational education and training in tourism, food and beverage or cookery. The Awards highlight the importance of promoting vocational education and training among secondary schools across the state. The Awards Dinner, is the night we announce and celebrate the winners of the program it will be held Monday 29 July 2019.

The Queensland Tourism Industry Council (QTIC) and the QTIC Indigenous Champions Network are proud to announce DestinationIQ (formerly the QTIC Tourism Indigenous Employment Forum) which will take place in the Sunshine Coast on Wednesday 6 November 2019. DestinationIQ brings together business leaders, employers, government representatives, tourism organisations, native title holders and community organisations to discuss important issues, opportunities and strategies for supporting First Nations tourism and employment across the state. A key event in the QTIC calendar that is not to be missed! Early bird tickets available until Saturday 31 August 2019.
